6 suspects in G4S Sh72 million ATM heist get lower bail terms
The fresh arrests may suggest that the heist might have involved a big group with suspects now numbered at close to ten.
Two DCI detectives were the first to be nabbed in Kisumu County with Sh7 million cash and a car that was believed to have been purchased by the stolen cash.
Four G4S employees are also among six suspects who had been granted Sh1 million bond by the courts which was revised downwards to Sh500,000 each after they claimed to have been tortured by police while in holding.
Another suspect was recently arrested in Machakos with Sh2.3 million cash, believed to have been part of the stolen money, hidden in his grandmother's house.
