On the day of her swearing-in ceremony this happens...

In a conversation seen by Plive.co.ke, the former minister stated that she was considering legal options.

Ms. Karua was responding to State House Communication Director Dennis Itumbi when she finally revealed her next move.

Here is the conversation

Karua contested for the Kirinyaga Gubernatorial seat in the just concluded General Election but was defeated by Ms. Waiguru, the former Devolution and Planning CS.

Waiguru garnered 159,606 votes while Karua came in second with 120,341 votes.

Earlier, the Narc-Kenya Party leader had indicated dissatisfaction in the counting and tallying process handled by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
