Looming Trouble for Ann Waiguru after Martha Karua's latest decision

On the day of her swearing-in ceremony this happens...

Former Kirinyaga Gubernatorial aspirant and Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua could be moving to court to challenge the win of the county governor-elect Anne Waiguru.

In a conversation seen by Plive.co.ke, the former minister stated that she was considering legal options.

Ms. Karua was responding to State House Communication Director Dennis Itumbi when she finally revealed her next move.

Karua contested for the Kirinyaga Gubernatorial seat in the just concluded General Election but was defeated by Ms. Waiguru, the former Devolution and Planning CS.

Waiguru garnered 159,606 votes while Karua came in second with 120,341 votes.

Earlier, the Narc-Kenya Party leader had indicated dissatisfaction in the counting and tallying process handled by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Waiguru was sworn in on Tuesday at Kirinyaga University.
