Nine people have died in a grisly road accident involving a trailer and a matatu, in Gilgil, along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
The accident occurred near St. Mary's Hospital in Gilgil.
Confirming the incident, Gilgil Sub-County Commander John Onditi said the Friday morning crash left scores of other passengers injured.
The accident occurred at 5AM on Friday morning.
