Lawyer Ahmednasir to take action after latest presidential appointments

This comes after Uhuru submitted names of Ambassadorial nominees for vetting

Kenyan Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has said that he will take action, following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s latest ambassadorial appointments.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, the vocal lawyer said that he was in disbelief that the President had nominated former CID Director Ndegwa Muhoro to the position of Kenyan High Commissioner to Malaysia.

“Can't believe that H.E UHURU has nominated former CID Director Ndegwa Muhoro to be our High Commissioner to Kuala Lumpur...it is an insult to the Malaysian people @anwaribrahim @UKenyatta @MINDEFMalaysia @Malaysia_Gov,” read his tweet.

Ahmednasir who represented the President in the August 8, 2017 General election petition promised that he will write to the Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad and the leader of the ruling coalition Dr. Anwar Ibrahim, to reject Mr. Muhoro’s nomination.

“I will personally write a petition to the Prime Minister of Malaysia & Dr Anwar Ibrahim to reject Mr. Muhoro as Kenya's representative to Kuala Lumpur. He is unworthy of presenting his credentials to Sultan Muhammad V. @chedetofficial @Malaysia_Gov @MINDEFMalaysia,” added Ahmednasir.

His words came after President Uhuru Kenyatta forwarded names of various Ambassadorial nominees to parliament for vetting.
