Miguna Miguna’s message to Kisumu man on hunger strike
He had his last meal on Thursday
Miguna in his message thanked activist Boniface Akumu on behalf of NRM and asked him not to die but organize and mobilize to have President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto removed from power.
“The comrades thank Mr. Boniface Akumu for showing total commitment to the struggle. However, I urge him and others not to die. Instead, we must ORGANISE, MOBILISE and REMOVE the despots from their illegitimate positions of power.” He said.
Boniface Akumu who is a human rights activist has been on a hunger strike in a bid to pressure the government to obey court orders issued to enable the return of self-declared NRM General Miguna Miguna, after he was deported to Dubai for the second time.
Akumu has kept vigil at the famous Kondele round about in Kisumu town for the past three days.
