The strict message Twitter sent to Cyprian Nyakundi after suspension

Nyakundi creates another Twitter account, reveals the strict message he received

Nyakundi was suspended for tweeting nude photos of a top media boss. The man, who Pulselive.co.ke will not mention his name, was caught in a compromising situation with two women who appeared quite young.

"Hello Cyprian, Is Nyakundi, Your account C_Nyakundi has been suspended for violating Twitter Rules. Specifically for violating our rules against posting or sharing intimate photos or videos of someone that were produced without their consent," the message from Twitter read in part.

In a new twitter account he opened on Tuesday morning, Nyakundi urged Kenyans to boycott Twitter and join Gab, a social networking service created as an alternative to Twitter. Gab brands itself as a platform that supports free speech.

"Let's grow the Kenyan community there because of Twitter censorship. #BringBackNyakundi," he tweeted.

In the private message, twitter went on to warn Nyakundi against opening another Twitter account noting that it will too be suspended.

"Note that if you attempt to evade a permanent suspension by creating a new account, we will suspend your accounts. If you wish to appeal this suspension, please contact our support team," the message continued.

Nyakundi's new Twitter account already has over 500 followers and the hashtag to #BringBackNyakundi currently trending at number one in Kenya.
