Chaos erupted in Bungoma County as four students from St. Marys Kibabii and one from Good Shepherd ACK were caught in Cardinal Otunga Girls School while wearing girls uniforms.
School admins from the girls' school caught them in the toilets and called the police who took them to Bungoma Police Station.
According to The Star, the girls protested the actions by throwing stones into the windows and demanding the transfer of their head teacher who had only served for two months.
Citizen TV Kenya reports that the boys decided to sneak in while the girls were protesting their new head teacher.
The boys were arrested at around 11pm.
Police also stated that they had already had access to the girls' dormitory.

The boys would be released without charges for disciplinary action by the schools.
"We suspect the boys sneaked in during the day through the girls' school bus that was in their school for sports," Bungoma OCPD, Francis Sang, stated.
