A new update has been issued on retired president Daniel Arap Moi’s health status after he was flown to Israel.
According to his spokesman Mr. Lee Njiru, the former president is responding well to treatment at a hospital in Israel’s city Tel Aviv.
According to Dr. David Silverstein, they were keen to have a second opinion on his knee which has been a source of discomfort to the former president.
The former President had undergone a knee surgery at the Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi in 2017, a problem that is said to have started in 2006 when he was involved in an accident in Limuru, on his way back to Kabarak after he presided over a graduation ceremony at Scotts Theological College in Machakos.
