I'm Uhuru's only true friend - DP Ruto says in bid to woo Central Kenya

Deputy President William Ruto has bashed former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and the ODM party over their intentions with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking in Mathira constituency on Saturday, the DP claimed that he is the President's only true friend.

"President Kenyatta's friends are myself and MP Rigathi Gachagua and no one should try to lie to you that Atwoli (COTU Secretary General), Raila or the people at ODM are Uhuru's friends," the DP stated.

The DP further accused the handshake partner and the ODM party of attempting to defraud the country with the push for a referendum.

"We know you want to steal our money through the referendum, hawa watu wa no one can stop reggae, mkiendelea, wakenya watasimamisha hiyo reggae," he stated.

DP Ruto further insisted taht his race for State House is now unstopable.

He has been on a tour of the Central region which will see him visit Tharaka Nithi county on Sunday.
