Two people perished on the spot while 5 others were rushed to hospital after a vehicle they were travelling was involved in an accident.
The vehicle plummeted down a cliff along the Kabarnet-Iten road on Saturday as the driver attempted to reverse.
The occupants of the vehicle had just made a stop to view the expansive Rift Valley in Kabartonjo at the Kolol view point.
The casualties were rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret with severe injuries.
