New details emerge in CS Amina and Oparanya’s night accident

Oparanya makes clarification

It has now emerged that Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed was not part of the night accident involving Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya’s chase car at Lunyerere, Kisumu-Kakamega road.

Oparanya who was among the first people to divulge information about the accident, on Friday morning clarified that he had made an error.

"No injuries reported so far & I urge all to be calm because we are safe. was NOT part of the accident & we Apologize for earlier misinformation from people on the scene," he tweeted.

Oparanya mentioned that he had wrongly identified the car in the accident as that belonging to the CS.
