Education Cabinet Fred Matiang’i on Wednesday named Pangani Girls High School as the most improved school in the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)Examination.
The CS also pinpointed Alliance Girls School and Kenya High School as institutions with most remarkable performance compared to the 2016 KCSE results.
Releasing the exams at Nairobi School in Westlands, Mr. Matiang'i stated that female students performed better than their male counterpart.
At the same time, a list of top five schools during the 2017 National Exams also came out with Sing'ore Girls toping at a mean score of 69.9.
Light Academy was second with 69.1, Alliance Girls 69.7, Kenya High 68.2 and Loreto Girls' 68.2.
