Hundreds of commuters were forced to walk to work as a few Matatu’s were available on the road with doubled bus fare.

Most Roads in Nairobi had no Matatu’s as early as 4:30am forcing the early birds to look for alternatives means to help them report to work on time.

Kenyans On Twitter under the hash tag, expressed the disappointments, lamenting how hectic it is to get to work if you don’t have a personal car.

The Crackdown  has resulted to empty roads, as only Kenyans walking to work and a few personal cars could be seen.

At least 4,000 traffic officers will be reinforced by another 10,000 police officers to ensure success of the crackdown.
