Police, who have sought verification from the Kenya National Examinations Council, were alerted about the student by the school principal.
The student of Kitondo Secondary School was found in possession of all the exam papers on Whatsapp.

Area police Commandant Mbooni East Peter Njeru says the student has been transferred to KNEC headquarters at Mitihani house in Nairobi for interrogation.
School bus burnt
Meanwhile, police in Makindu sub-county are investigating a case in which a school bus belonging to Makindu boys was set on fire. Police say the bus was torched around 11pm on Monday.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. This is according to Makindu police boss Henrieta Wanyama.
