Pauline Wanjira, a member of Nyeri county assembly is nursing injuries after allegedly being attacked by her male colleague during a training seminar in Arusha, Tanzania.
She claims her colleague attacked her using a bottle of an alcoholic drink while they were at a pub.
Treatment
The Magutu Ward Rep attributes the attack to supremacy battles in the county assembly.

Ms Wanjira flew back to the country for treatment.

She has previously accused Kirimukuyu MCA Anthony Dagita of assaulting her, though no arrests were ever made.
