Uhuru's remarks in French cause a frenzy online

Kenyans went berserk on Wednesday after President Uhuru Kenyatta posted a tweet in French.

KOT went wild under the President's post with speculation of what Uhuru had posted in the Tweet.

Some wondered whether this was an opening for politicians to start speaking foreign languages, with on tweep asking if Au envoy Raila Odinga will tweet in German.

KOT goes berserk

Others hilariously asked whether the President's tweet meant that the money lost through graft would be returned.

Since KOT are the best-known inventors in Kenya, they took the opportunity to cook up their own version of French with a mix of Kiswahili.

President Kenyatta posted the tweet as he welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron who arrived in Kenya for a two-day State visit.
