I am working together with church elders in Nairobi and I will ensure Raila Odinga and William Ruto also have a handshake,” said the Nairobi Governor.

Sonko also called on political leaders to stop engaging in the politics of 2022 and instead focus on serving their electorate.

Let us stop focusing on 2022 politics and instead have a handshake lineup, I know if Raila and Deputy President William Ruto have a handshake, peace in Kenya will last for many years,” Sonko said.
