Babu Owino in new rap song "Dis Gal (Kanini Kega)" [Audio]

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino

"Kanini Kega" is a Kikuyu term used to refer to something that is small but good.

Babu clarified that the song has nothing to do with his Kieni counterpart who goes by the name.

The MP partnered with Kenyan musician Nebulazz in the new song  which has received a good response from members of the public.

Babu Explains Why he Did it

Speaking to reporters, the legislator explained that he did not intend to join the entertainment industry but only participated in the track for fun.

Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika also recently released a song titled "Nalia", a move that came as a surprise to her fans.

The song has been interpreted as a diss to musician Otile Brown who broke up with her.
