President Uhuru Kenyatta has made several changes in his administration, bringing in seasoned opposition politicians and Eva Msando-wife to slain IEBC ICT boss on board.

In the changes unveiled on Friday, Eva Msando was appointed to be a member of the Export Processing Zones Authority for a period of three years.

The appointment comes several months after the widow appealed for help so as to raise her children following the untimely demise of her husband.

She was appointed alongside Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao, and John Masaba who will also be serving at EPZA.

Msando was murdered a few days to last year’s elections with a section of the opposition linking his death to politics.

The changes also saw several allies to Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Muyoka land top state jobs.

Among the beneficiaries of the appointments is NASA CEO Norman Magaya who was appointed to Kenya Film Classification Board.

Former Kitui Senator David Musila was appointed to be the chairman of the Board of the National Museums of Kenya.

In what is a familiar trend, several politicians who were floored in last year’s elections made a comeback after landing plum state jobs.
