The legislator took to his Facebook account to share photos of the billboard before and after it was pulled down.
According to the politician, he had placed the billboard at Delmonte in Muranga County to welcome guests to the 6th Devolution Conference taking place in Kirinyaga County.
The billboard read in part: "Hon. Moses Kuria welcomes you to Kirinyaga County for the 6th Devolution Conference...Sense and simplicity, kazi na pesa."
Shame on you!
In response, Kuria posted: "So someone has pulled down my billboard at Delmonte in Muranga County. Will you also pull down my Presidential bid? Shame on you."
He later added: "Here yesterday. Gone Today. Shame."
The politician's posts were received with a lot of comments with many latching on his declared presidential bid.
Joseph Otieno commented: "If you can rant like this over a mere billboard,, what if they steal your votes? You will lose your head, right? But talking of your votes, are you even serious about your presidential ambitions? Who cares!"
Other commentators were more supportive of the politician, sympathizing with him over the incident.
