The General's return!
He added that he has the protection of the High Court after it ordered Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, Immigration Principal Secretary George Kihalangwa, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett and DCI George Kinoti to issue him with a valid Kenyan passport and facilitate his return to Kenya unconditionally.
“I AM RETURNING TO KENYA ON MAY 16, 2018. I am a Kenyan citizen by birth. The High Court has ordered , George Kihalangwa, and Kinoti 13 times to issue me with a valid Kenyan passport and facilitate my return to Kenya as a Kenyan unconditionally. ,” read Miguna’s post.
His announcement comes barely two months after he returned to Kenya but was denied entry into the country for refusing to produce his travel documents and was detained at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for days before he was forcefully deported back to Dubai which was his last port of call.
In a ruling made by High Court Judge Justice Chacha Mwita on April 6, Miguna Miguna is expected to appear before the High Court on May 18 to face his litigants and give oral evidence in his deportation case.
