Blow for Jubilee Senator after UoN de-registers him over fake papers

This is not the first time the senator has found himself in such a situation.

Reports reaching Pulse Live Kenya indicate that Senator Linturi presented the fake papers in order to obtain a degree certificate.

Senator Linturi was one of the politicians blacklisted by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for failing to pass the integrity test before the August 8 elections.

According to Linturi, he graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2001 but according to the EACC he is not a graduate of the University.

This is not the first time the senator has been caught in a similar predicament as in 2013, Linturi was accused of presenting forged academic documents to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in the 2013 elections.
