The first suspect spotted in the nude video of Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri has been arrested.
Emerging reports indicate that the man identified as a Nyandarua prison warder was being held at the Wang’uru police station in Mwea.
It is said that detectives were trailing the warder, who was finally arrested at the police station where he had gone to report an accident.
According to a report by Citizen TV, the warder admitted being one of the men who assaulted Mr. Ndambiri.
The Kirinyaga Deputy Governor hit headlines after he was caught on tape in a compromising situation with an alleged married woman in his hotel room.
In the video that has since been shared widely online, Ndambiri is seen naked with the said woman being assaulted by unidentified men.

However, Ndambiri refuted claims that he was having an affair with the woman stating that it was a setup by conmen.
He mentioned that the video was not recorded in Kakamega where the Devolution Conference is taking place as earlier reported, but was an old one which the conmen released after he declined to give them Sh5 million.
"I do not know the woman nor do I have a relationship with her, I was set up after I refused to part with Ksh.5 million," he said.
