KTN Anchor nearly beaten up in Nairobi by NASA Supporter [VIDEO]

There was drama on Thursday morning after KTN news anchor was almost beaten by a NASA supporter.

A rare spectacle was witnessed in Kibera, Nairobi County after one of the NASA supporters threatened to physically assault KTNs anchor, who is also a senior reporter, Sophia Wanuna.

The man, who looked agitated, moved near Wanuna while she was reporting and ordered her to leave the area.

“Endeni bwana,” the man dressed in black told the KTN reporter.

After seeing that Wanuna was not responding, he went back and picked a boulder and used it to threaten her.

The senior KTN reporter was left with no option but interrupted the broadcast and opted to leave the area.

NASA leader Raila Odinga told his supporters to boycott the election on Wednesday at Uhuru Park.

Odinga also urged his supporters to stay at home and pray while declaring that NASA had become a National Resistance Movement (NRM).

On Thursday, NASA supporters heeded to Odinga’s call to boycott the repeat presidential.

A spot check by Pulselive.co.ke across the country indicated that there was low turn out and in some NASA strongholds no one had turned up to vote by the time of publishing the story.
