According to the Nation, the 21-year-old woman had just completed her studies at the Kenya Medical Training College, Karen Campus.
According to police reports, the late Msando was on Monday found at City Mortuary in Nairobi, a day after he was reported missing.
Police said his body was discovered in Kikuyu forest and the mortuary records show that it was brought in on Saturday morning, alongside that of an unidentified woman at the same spot.
Caro’s mother said her daughter was awaiting graduation this December and described her as a “very calm and peaceful child”.
"When she told me she was going out on Friday I did not expect could receive such news," she said.
“This is not something that could have happened to my daughter because she is such a good person.”
Her sister Jedida Wanjiku said she last talked to her on phone at around 7pm on Friday.
Caro had told her that she was going to have a few drinks with Mr Msando.
According to her sister, Caro and Mr Msando, had been friends for months.
