The National Super Alliance (NASA) on Friday night finally presented its petition challenging the win of President Uhuru Kenyatta during the General Election at the Supreme Court.

The Opposition compiled a 25,000-page petition which NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga described as a historic one in the land.

Speaking outside the Supreme Court, Siaya Senator and NASA’s lawyer James Orengo told journalists they have a water tight case.

Mr. Orengo divulged that they have evidence from all over the country that would prove that the General Election was a sham and the presidential results were computer-generated.

The renowned lawyer mentioned that NASA also had evidence from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) itself.

The team also included electronic evidence from the late IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando.

“It is evidence which most of it is largely from the IEBC itself. We have electronic including the last words of the late Chris Msando who gave assurances to Kenyans on how these elections were going to be conducted and the technology that was going to be applied.

“The evidence this court is going to consider is from all over the country. From places like Murang’a, Mandera, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kisii, Eldoret, West Pokot, Samburu, Narok, Machakos, nearly every malpractice that was carried out in this election has been covered in this petition.

“That is why it runs to more than 25,000pages. Most of those 25,000 pages are evidence not just pleadings,” Orengo said.

Mr. Odinga, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula were all present during the presentation of the petition at the Supreme Court.
