Witnesses claim that the MCA has an arguement with the man in blue before being murdered.

A Jubilee party Member of County Assembly has been shot dead by the police in Limuru town, Kiambu County

The former MCA aspirant William Mwangi was shot at close rnge by a police officer in his vehicle.

According to witnesses, the polician and the officer had just had an arguement at a local pub before the police officer shot him. The bar manager affirmed the same.

"The Problem started when the gentlemam demanded to drin a botte of beer but we asked him to pay for it. He asked us if we knew who he wa and told him Kenya is a free country guarded by law, " he said claiming that they didnt know he was an officer.

One of the deceased's friends, who choses to remain anonymous says that he warned William that the police may have been planning something.

"I drove off but I was called by one of our freinds who told me Mwangi has been shot dead. I drove back, " he told reporters.

Limuru Criminal Investigations in-charge, Mwenda Itheiba confirmed that the accused police officer has since been arrested.

"The officer is in custody to help us with investigations, " Itheiba confirmed.
