A 60-year-old man has been given a taste of jungle justice after being accused of raping and killing a young woman.

The suspect whose identity is yet to be confirmed was reportedly beaten, dragged and paraded around the community by youths and women of Amaekpu, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, on Friday, November 18th, Abia Facts reports.

According to the reports, the suspect insulted and mocked the young woman for being a virgin before killing her.

Abia Facts reports that the suspect later told a friend of the victim to inform the victim's family of the whereabouts of her corpse.

The elderly man was reportedly handed over to the police but not a minute before the members of the community had their way with him
