Kenya’s rugby 15s team beat Senegal 45-25 in their Saturday July 15’s Africa Gold Cup match but head coach Jerome Paarwater is not a happy man.
The Simbas went to the match from a 100-10 win against Tunisia and most fans expected a bigger margin of victory against Senegal, a team which was flogged by Namibia 95-0 ahead of this fixture.
Speaking to P Live after the game, Jerome heaped blame on their opponents terming their playing style as ‘ugly’. He asserted that his boys could have scored more goals if Senegal opened up for a proper game.
"It wasn’t a pretty game. It was a very ugly game and it wasn’t played in the right spirit of the game so I’m not happy with the game today. They (Senegal) played a negative game so we could not get going. Am just happy with the five points but I’m not happy with the game today."
The match was played at RFEUA grounds as from 2:00pm.
