Tanzania’s Albino United Football team is keen on making a mark in the world of football and it has made one major appeal to the community.

The club which was founded in 2008 with the aim of recognizing albinos as everybody else, met English Premier League side Everton in July where they asked for some respect from locals.

In some African countries, including Tanzania, people with albinism face attacks by some who want their body parts for magic potions.

“They should not discriminate us. They should not chop off our hands, they should not harass us. We are also human beings like them, we are like them; the only difference is in melanin but we do every job the same way. Everything is okay,” one of the player told BBC.
