Addressing a rally in Nyahururu town on Sunday, Kenyatta warned Odinga not to joke with the lives of Kenyans.
"I want to tell Raila today; do not joke with the lives of Kenyans! The Government will no longer entertain violent streets protests that disrupt business and normal living. This Government will take action against you," Kenyatta affirmed.
The Head of State also ruled out any chance of a negotiated government warning the international community not to interfere with the politics of Kenya.
“If you are a foreigner and you want to come to Kenya as a tourist, you are welcome. Come visit our national parks and other tourist sites but we will not entertain interference in our internal democracy. The only problem we have in Kenya is one man called Raila Odinga,” he said.
The Opposition leader mentioned that he wanted to take a break after the vigorous campaigns and that's why he opted to travel after pulling out of the presidential race.
“I arrived on Sunday morning from UK. Others are saying I had gone to kneel down to the international community so that they can come to mediate on the political crisis in the country. That is not true,” the Opposition leader said.
