Rapper AY speaks on alleged break up with wife

Rapper AY and wife Remy

Tanzanian rapper Ambwene Yesiah popularly known as AY has spoken on his alleged break up with his wife Remy.

In an interview on East Africa Television (EATV) AY said that he could not talk about rumours because he is not that kind of person.

He went on to say that he had nothing to say because someone just woke up and decided to write on his pages that he had parted ways with his wife.

Break up

AY spoke after a Tanzanian blogger claimed that he had parted ways with his wife Remy after barely two years of marriage and the rapper had taken their son to Rwanda to stay with the wife’s parents.

The blogger alleged that Remy abandoned her husband together with their son and she fled to the United States, where she is currently working.

Wedding

AY and Remy made official their marriage in February 2018 after they held two lavish weddings, one in Rwanda and another one in Tanzania.

The invites only-wedding saw notable names in the East African entertainment industry attend, and was held on the shores of the Indian Ocean, AY’s bride rocked a white gown unlike the first wedding where they rocked traditional outfits.

Lady Jaydee, Professor Jay, Shaffie Weru, Fundi Frank, Mwana FA were among the celebrities that attended the wedding.

The two have been together since 2008.
