Bahati reveals how much money he has invested in David Wonder

Money moves

Gospel singer Kevin Bahati has revealed the amount of money he has invested in singer David Wonder.

Bahati, who spoke at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), when he launched his latest signing at his Eastland’s Most Beloved (EMB) record label said that he has spent over a million shillings on David Wonder for the past 1 year and three months he has been signed at EMB.

He further disclosed that he has been using the money out of his pocket by sacrificing some of the money he is paid because it is his passion to have Wonder’s life change for the best, which can only happen if he pushed his music dream.

“We have so far done about six videos and we have spent over a million on David Wonder. I have never been sponsored by anyone but when I’m called for a show by Coca-Cola and Safaricom I sacrifice a percentage because I want his life to change,” he said.

Bahati also disclosed that he met David Wonder after six months of texting and sending him several singing voice notes while he worked as a beautician in a salon because he had given up on singing.

Since his signing at EMB records, David Wonder’s second stab at music seems to be paying off well with his songs, Ndogo Ndogo, Mtindo, Please call back, Kumbuka Ghetto and Niambie.
