They say life comes at you fast, a phrase that one Betty Kyallo might be familiar with.

Ever since she divorced with her ex-lover Dennis Okari, the KTN News Presenter changed her official Twitter account handle from “@BettyOkari” to “@BettyMKyallo”, a move that surprised many who at the time got to know that it was over between the two lovebuds.

And now months after they parted ways, it seems as though the dark shadow of Betty’s ex-lover Denni Okari is back to haunt her.

This is after Twitter unverified Betty Kyallo’s official Twitter account.

The blue verified badge on Twitter, which lets people know that an account of public interest is authentic, is no longer on her handle.

Following the switch of names since their separation, Twitter decided to unverify her Twitter for breach of regulations.

Twitter only verifies accounts of users in music, fashion, government, politics, religion, journalism, business, and other areas of key interest.

Betty Kyallo has more than 290, 000 followers on the popular social networking site, making her one of the most followed people on Twitter in Kenya.

Betty, an active Twitter user, is known to use the site to silence her critics and more so with regards to her rumored relationship with Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.

She recently won this year’s Media Personality Award at the just concluded OLX Soma Awards.
