Wema Sepetu speaks after brother was brutally beaten, hospitalized

Police officers have been blamed for the brutal attack.

She revealed that her brother was arrested by the police who then proceeded to beat him to a point where he was within an inch of his life. And his mistake according to Wema was that he came to court to accompany Wema and her mum for a court session.

Here is part of what she wrote about the brutal incident:

What is This...??? Alafu bado watu wakisema wanaonekana wabaya.... Kwa unyanyasaji huu... And bado watu wanasema Hapa Kazi Tu...

Kazi ya Unyanyasaji usokuwa na maana...? Hapa Kazi Tu for what... Wakati ndugu zetu wanapigwa nusu kufa bila kosa....

Hatukujua wapi alienda maana kulikuwa kuna ulinzi mkubwa... Basi we only thought labda alitolewa nje... Kumbe walikuwa wanampiga...

Only now nakuja kujua kwamba alichukuliwa na mapolice wakaenda kumpiga mpaka sasa yupo hospital amelazwa....

Sasahivi yupo hospital... Kalazwa... Bila kosa jamani." She wrote.

" I'm sick and Tired of This...Kama hii nchi itaendelea hivi, Hatuna nchi tena.... Tanzania ilikuwa zamani... Nat from 2015.... We lost our Tanzania 2015...." She Tweeted despite the fact that she was one of the chief celebrity campaigners for Magufuli.

“ Rais  ana order jeshi lake la police kupiga watu bila kosa just because wameenda kusikiliza kesi za ndugu zao...? Kweli is this fair..?Au ni Police wenyewe wamejichukulia uamuzi wa kupiga watu wanaoingia mahakamani ? " She wondered out loud.

This incident comes a few months after Wema was arrested and detained over a roll of marijuana.
