British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Africa has appointed journalist Zawadi Mudibo as their new Business Editor for Africa.
His appointment was announced by the BBC Programmes Editor Newton Ndebu.
Mr Mudibo who formerly worked for K24 TV as business news anchor will take over from Larry Madowo, who moved to the United States, and currently works as BBC Correspondent in America.
Prior to his confirmation, Zawadi Mudibo who was poached by Madowo in efforts to strengthen BBC Africa business team, has been acting Business Editor for Africa.

Zawadi has been holding the position in an acting capacity and following a competitive process, is now confirmed to the role for the next 12 months. He is a talented and dedicated journalist, with over a decade's experience reporting Business News in Africa.
