It's a lonely time, but please don't text your ex – Maureen Waititu

YouTuber and influencer Maureen Waititu has come out to advise Kenyans against texting their ex boyfriends or girlfriends despite these being lonely times following the measure's the Government has put to curb Coronavirus, some including people working from home and staying indoors.

So far the cases have risen to seven.

Maureen also cautioned people against texting those guys who weren’t their ex but had a hard time moving on from them after the situationship went south.

“It's a lonely time, but please don't text your ex Oh! Also, you know that person who isn't your ex but was still important to you and hard to get over? Don't text them either 🙊. Quarantine! I repeat Quarantine! #coronaviruskenya🇰🇪 😷” said Maureen.

I have been most vulnerable the last few months

This comes a few days after Ms Waititu disclosed that she has been vulnerable for the past few months. She went on to add that she had asked God to to reveal her scars to the people she came across, so that they can know there is a God who can heal them, no matter the situation they are in.

“In the last few months, I've been the most vulnerable. I asked God to show my scars, so that anyone who experiences me can know that there is a God who heals,” she wrote.
