In the twist, Ms Kanamu who appeared in a Machakos Court on Wednesday to take a plea said that she did not stab Jamal, but he fell on a kitchen knife.

It was reported that he was having a party at a hotel when a quarrel ensued between him and the woman who then picked a kitchen knife and stabbed him.
He was rushed to Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Ms. Kanamu has been in police custody since December last year, when the unfortunate incident is said to have occurred.
