6 reasons why you keep peeing a lot
And it’s not only because you drank a lot of water
Despite cutting down on drinking too much water, which is one of the reasons why people may feel like using the bathroom all the time, you still find yourself making many trips to the bathroom.
Here are 6 possible reasons why you always feel like peeing.
1.Infection
You could have an untreated UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) that may be irritating the bladder thus why you always feeling like using the rest room.
Some symptoms of UTIs is feeling pain or uncomfortable when peeing.
2.You might be diabetic
One symptom of being diabetic is always feeling thirsty which causes diabetics to drink a lot of water. Drinking too much water will definitely increase the number of trips made to the restroom.
3.You may just be nervous or anxious
Having butterflies before a job interview for instance can cause one to keep going to the restroom. It’s your body’s response to a stressful situation.
4.You have an overactive bladder
An overactive bladder is when the bladder uncontrollably contracts even when it is not full which can increase toilet trips.
Pelvic floor exercises can help regain control of the bladder.
5.Small bladder
Having a small bladder could also be the reason behind needing to pee all the time. The bladder holds on average 300-500 ml of water which is equivalent to a small bottle of water.
6.Pregnancy
Pregnant women especially those in their last trimester make a lot of trips to the restroom because of the pressure placed on the bladder by the baby.
