Nausea in the morning is usually associated with pregnancy.
Having a bun in the oven is however not the only reason why you may experience a little bit of morning sickness.
1.Low blood sugar/hunger
Low blood sugar is not only associated with getting diabetes but could also be the cause of your morning sickness.
Low blood sugar could be caused as a result of not eating the night before.
2.Gastroesophagael reflux
This is a condition whereby the muscle between the esophagus and the stomach relax allowing the stomach acid to wash backwards into the esophagus and mouth.
This results to heartburns or a sour taste in the mouth and it can also cause nausea.
Anti-acid medication can help fix this issue. Take it, preferably, at night before lying down to avoid the acid backwash.
3.How much and what you eat at night
Eating too much at night and high fat meals for that matter are hard to digest which in turn can cause the stomach to produce more acid. Excess acid in the stomach can cause feelings of nausea and heartburn.
If eating late, try to make your dinner as light as possible. Avoid processed foods.
Oh plus you could be really hangovered.
4.Stress
Stress could be another cause of your nausea. Feelings of anxiety, anger, sadness can cause your stomachs to turn making you feel a little sick.
