While the feeling of being overwhelmed sucks it just happens to be another part of life that everyone goes through.
Be it school, work, family or relationships; they can all make someone to feel drowned sometimes.
Some people know how to deal with it while others donât. For those that donât here are some tips of what not to do.
1.Giving up
Itâs very easy to give up when things go left. Everything around you seem to fall apart and you can barely hang on.
Giving up is just doing yourself injustice.
That difficult situation is the moment you should strive to find your inner strength and push on.
2.Not doing anything about it
Feeling like crap is one thing but doing nothing about it doesnât solve anything. Aaliyah couldnât have said it better in her hit song Try Again: you need to dust yourself off and try again.
3.Being negative
Itâs easy to be negative when things are tough and itâs understandable; weâre only human. Choosing to find the positive while in that situation is what will get you out of it though.
4.Taking on more than you can handle
You canât put out fire with fire. Tackle what is stressing you out at that time first before piling on responsibilities that you know you wonât be able to deliver on.
5.Not admitting that things are not okay
Accepting that you are not okay is taking a step closer to finding a proper solution for your situation.
