Journalists working for Royal Media Services (RMS) owned Citizen TV were robbed in Kirinyaga during the Devolution Conference.

Citizen TV reporter, Stephen Letoo said that a Mac book laptop, Cameras, branded microphones, cables and hard drives were stolen.

The thugs are said to have broken into a vehicle belonging to RMS and stole the items.

Police are investigating the theft, which happened on Monday as counties trooped to Kirinyaga for the 6th Annual Devolution Conference.

During the five-day meeting, the government and its key stakeholders will be discussing what they have been able to deliver.

President Uhuru Kenyatta's Big Four agenda will form part of the conversation at the conference.

Part of the topics of discussion will include trade and manufacturing that seeks to promote value addition to products, whilst creating employment opportunities for the country’s working-age population, by 2022.
