Revealed: What Uhuru’s Party Will Announce in December 2017

Details of the major announcement finally brought to light

Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki claimed that the ceremony will be held in Mukothima village where the Ju will choose him as the running of Deputy President William Ruto for the 2022 Presidential race.

“On December 9, 2017, Kenya will be addressed from Mukothima village and this is when we will officially start the journey to State House with Mr. Ruto," Kindiki said.

Addressing locals on Friday during the swearing in ceremony of Tharaka-Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki, Mr. Kindiki divulged that the mega-event will be attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Mr Ruto, Jubilee senators, governors, MPs and hundreds of MCAs.

The Professor disclosed that President Kenyatta had already agreed to hand over power to him and DP Ruto.

“As I said during my campaign trail, I will not come to you again seeking county leadership since I am headed to Nairobi to fight for the State House,” Kindiki stated.

Prof Kindiki had initially announced that he would be contesting for the Presidency but later changed his course.

On the other hand, DP Ruto has consistently shown interest in succeeding President Kenyatta after his second term is over.

However, a section of Jubilee members opposing this have opined that Ruto will not automatically receive support from the party.
