Politicians aspiring for different seats in the upcoming General Election on Monday made their way to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) offices across the country to present their nomination papers.

Some of the politicians seized the moment to display their grandiose by the vehicle they used to travel to the electoral body’s premises.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi brought Karbanet Town to a standstill with the fleet of vehicles and motorcycles that accompanied him to the IEBC offices.

When the KANU chairman was cleared and handed the certificate, a celebration broke out in the town.

At the same Meru aspiring senator, Zablon Mathenge dazzled the town when he drove into IEBC offices in his Hummer H3 limousine.

Mr. Mathege, who is also an ex-police officer is vying on a Meru Mazingira party ticket.

Last year, when the businessman bought the huge machine estimated to cost Sh12 million, he held a bash at Kaaga Primary school in Imenti North Sub-County.

The electoral body is currently carrying out the clearance process in their offices contrywide.
