Chesang shared the sad news via his Social media pages, stating that his father passed away on March 26th 2021 and was laid to rest over the weekend. The burial ceremony was graced by Trans-Nzioa Governor Patrick Khaemba, MP Oscar Sudi, MP Caleb Kositany among others.
The Young Politician Eulogized his late Dad as his hero and best friend who shaped the man he is today.

“On the 26th of March I lost my hero, my anchor, my best friend, my father, our Chairman. This Easter Sunday means so much more to me... because I finally understand what it meant for Christ to conquer death. Therein lies the hope of seeing our departed loved ones on that resurrection morning.
I want to sincerely and deeply appreciate each and every one of you who has helped to lift this burden and those who shared in our tears. I was truly humbled by the overwhelming support and I am privileged and honoured to have friends like you.
