Mr Obwocha served the country with distinction, mettle and performed admirably in the Planning and National Development docket. As a member of the National Economic and Social Council and a brilliant economist, he played an important role in drafting Vision 2030 that informs our aim to transform Kenya into an industrialised, middle income economy with high quality of life for its citizens.

@TonyGachoka I knew Henry Obwocha as a humble man who was also an astute politician. He steered Gusii politics post-Nyachae with grace and shrewdness. My condolences to his family and the people he served gallantly, may his soul RIP.
