@MikeSonko Received sad news on the death of former Secretary General of the United Nations and Nobel Laureate @KofiiAnnan. Kenyans will distinctly remember the former UN boss for the active role that he played in mediation during the 2007 post-election violence. #RIPKofiAnnan

@SpeakerJBMuturi My condolences go to the family and friends of the former UN Secretary General @KofiAnnan who was the first African to become the UN boss. Annan’s dedication and commitment to peace efforts across the globe has been unwavering and will be solely missed by all.

@orengo_james Kofi Annan was humble but firm. Civil but resolute. Spoke in simple prose. The results were written in fine verse. He helped Kenya move towards the path of democracy and social justice. Kenya has the choice _ "liberty or death".
