Nakuru man kills wife, injures boyfriend after he caught them in the act

A Nakuru man has killed his wife and left her boyfriend seriously injured, after he caught them in bed.

The man identified by the name Paul Maritim is reported to have slit his wife’s throat after he came home at around 11pm and he found her entertaining her lover.

According to eDaily, area Nyumba Kumi leader Robert Mutai, Paul took a club and a panga which he used to attack the wife’s lover before he slit her throat.

Paul is also said to have attacked a neighbor who rushed to the scene to see what was happening after he heard some commotion and left him with serious injuries, in the incident that happened on Wednesday night at Kapregerego Village in Tinet Location, Kuresoi South Sub-County.

According to Police in Nakuru, the suspect is still at large and a search party has already been launched.

The injured men were rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment before they were transferred to Tenwek Hospital for specialized treatment while his wife’s body was taken to Olenguruone Hospital mortuary.

The report also said that the suspect’s uncle identified as Wilson said that his nephew was angered that the mother of his seven children had betrayed him.
