Babu Owino meets Moses Kuria for the first time after calling for a truce

They have been sworn enemies

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino and Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria met for the first time after Babu called for a truce.

Babu shared pictures of himself together with Moses Kuria at K24 TV presenter Ciru Muriuki’s birthday party.

The two controversial MP’s have been sworn enemies over time owing to their political realignments but that now seems to be a thing of the past for two MPs.

Shortly after President Uhuru Kenyatta held talks with opposition leader Raila Odinga, Babu in a tweet announced that he and Moses Kuria would hold a joint press statement together and urged his supporters to attend the meeting but be prepared for any eventualities.

“Moses Kuria and I will hold a joint press statement very soon. Our supporters are advised to put on helmets and rubber shoes in case we don't agree. ,” said Babu.

A few days before Babu had refused to pick a fight with the Gatundu South legislator saying that he would never argue with a village leader.

“Moses Kuria was a SONU treasurer, a position that was preserved for ladies. I was a SONU chairman for 4terms. I will never argue with a village leader with Jigger infested brains,” Read Babu’s tweet.
