The purported cabinet reshuffle was attributed to the much-publicised handshake between Mr Kenyatta and the Opposition on March 9th.

Speaking at the same press conference, the former Prime Minister also refuted reports of a joint tour with President Kenyatta to Nyanza this week.

He described the reports on the tour as inaccurate.

" urges the media to avoid sensationalizing the handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta on the 9th of March 2018 and get facts before going to the press. Says only PSCU & ODM Comms can inform of planned meetings/joint tours between & the President," ODM party tweeted.
